Footpad histology and immunohistochemistry. Samples were obtained 24h after sTF injection. Wild-type mice showed marked inflammatory changes (A). PBS-injected mice showed minimal signs of inflammation (B). Staining for macrophages (C) was strongly positive. CD3-positive T cells were also present (D).
