Bone loss in 215 rheumatoid arthritis patients followed for 2 years. Bone loss assessed
by digital X-ray radiogrammetry (DXR) bone mineral density (BMD) and metacarpal cortical
index (MCI) of the hand, and by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) BMD of the
hand, total hip and spine (L2–L4).
