Higher titres of anti-human and anti-rabbit GPI antibodies in FCGR3A-158V/V RA patients versus healthy individuals. In individuals homozygous for the
FCGR3A high affinity V/V genotype (14 RA patients and 8 healthy individuals), both anti-human
GPI antibodies and anti-rabbit GPI antibodies were significantly elevated in the RA
group (P = 0.0027 and P = 0.0015 for anti-human GPI antibodies and anti-rabbit GPI antibodies, respectively,
by Mann–Whitney U-test). GPI, glucose-6-phosphate isomerase; RA, rheumatoid arthritis.
