Positive intensity is indicated as: -, positive cell ratio <5%; +, ratio 5% to 50%; ++, ratio >50%. Spearmen's rho analysis showed that expression of CD147 correlated significantly with matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) expression (p < 0.05), but that the expression of CD147 and MMP-1 did not correlate with tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1) expression (p > 0.05).
