Both RA and heart disease involved with potassium.

Rheumatoid arthritis always has low cell potassium. A potassium deficiency can cause necrosis of heart cells. A potassium deficiency is almost certainly the link between RA and heart disease. For a discussion of the affect of potassium deficiency on physiology, see; <a href="http://members.tripod.com/~charles_W/arthritis3.html ">
