Immunoprecipitation of SAA in SJIA, resulting in loss of the 11.4- to 11.6-kDA peak
cluster. A pooled sample from four sera before conventional treatment (top panel)
was incubated with either Protein A–Sepharose beads alone (middle panel) or Protein
A–Sepharose beads bound with anti-SAA antibody (lower panel). After immunoprecipitation,
the depleted serum was subjected to SELDI-TOF MS. The 11.4-to 11.6-kDa m/z peak cluster is shown in grey. MRA, humanized anti-IL-6 receptor monoclonal antibody;
