Glycosaminoglycan (GAG) (a) and hydroxyproline (as a measure of total collagen content) (b) are shown as amounts per microgram of DNA. Results are means ± SD for three identical pellets. The amounts are compared with the mean value for four sequential autologous chondrocyte transplantation patients (ACT).
