Back pain does not equal degenerative discs

I strongly disagree with the conclusion that LBP is associated with degenerative discs.
The one study quoted did not have controls and a number of other studies have demonstrated
no relationship between back pain and degenerative discs.
This type of conclusion continues to foster wrong concepts and research directions.
As a medical community, we need to look at the data with impassionate eyes to find
real solutions to one of the contry's biggest medical problems.
