Values are the percentage of joints with normal appearance or exhibiting inflammation and cartilage/bone degradation graded as mild, moderate, or severe, as assessed by haematoxylin and eosin. The numbers of joints assessed were as follows: 57 in the phage-derived monoclonal antibody against neuropilin-1 (anti-NRP1B)-treated group and 58 in the PBS-treated group. † The absolute numbers of mice exhibiting normal, mild, moderate, and severe arthritis changes were compared, and significance versus untreated mice was analysed by chi-square test for trend. |
