Data are presented as fold change in mRNA level relative to the mean expression in six age-matched healthy controls (dotted line) after normalisation to the acidic ribosomal phosphoprotein P0 (Arp) gene. Data are from individual mice (n =5 to 7), bars indicate the median mRNA level of the different groups. Statistical analysis of data was performed using one-way ANOVA with Dunn's post hoc test for multiple comparisons, compared against pre-arthritic mice (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001).
