Gene expression profiles of lymphoid cells ex vivo at different phases of adjuvant arthritis in Lewis rats. Shown is a heat map representation of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) at the indicated phases of adjuvant arthritis (AA) in Lewis (LEW) (RT.1^l) rats. Red denotes increased expression, and green indicates reduced expression compared to the baseline naïve (Nv) controls. At each phase of AA, total RNA was extracted from the draining ex vivo lymph node cells and tested using a microarray gene chip. Approximately 370 DEGs are shown.
