Adoptive cell transfer of Bcl-xL- and FoxP3-transduced regulatory T cells reduces
paw inflammation. The protocol of adoptive cell transfer for collagen-induced arthritis is described
in the legend of Figure 5. On day 60 of immunization, hind foot paws were amputated,
fixed, and decalcified. The tissues were embedded in paraffin, sectioned, and stained.
