Linkage disequilibrium values among the markers mapping in the region between HLA-E and HLA-C in the Sardinian population. Linkage Disequilibrium r² values among the six SNPs spanning the region between the HLA-E and HLA-C genes considered in this study. Calculation has been made analyzing two hundreds random controls (400 haplotypes) using haploview software [10]. Color scale reflects the strength of LD among the six markers whose genotype distribution was in Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium.
