IL-17 expression is higher in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) synovial tissue (ST) compared
with OA and normal ST. STs from RA (n = 10), osteoarthritis (OA) (n = 9) and normal
(NL) (n = 6) individuals were homogenised, centrifuged and filtered before quantifying
the levels of IL-17 by ELISA. The final concentration of IL-17 in STs was normalised
to the protein concentration in each tissue. The results are shown as mean ± SE. *p
< 0.05.
